When folks ask for photos, they’ll often share their reasons when they make their request. While the stories behind these reasons are unique, they often share motivations and most often, they’re envisioning a gift for a loved one or special occasion.
Pet Adoption
Adopting a new member of the family is an event you want to remember and commemorate. A trip to the stars can be a great way to share your news or help loved ones afar get to know your pet. It’s an especially fun way to introduce your new pet if you want to surprise someone.

Memorial
Pictures and photos stir reflection and memories - one of the most common reasons people request a photo is to commemorate a pet who has passed away but they have not forgotten, and want to think of in a beautiful way. The grief of losing a pet is deep and painful, and it deserves to be acknowledged. When we remember them, we give ourselves the space to grieve them more honestly and remember the snuggles, play time, love, and even bad behavior we cherished when they were with us.
international Pet Day
International Pet Days are a great excuse to celebrate our small(er) loved ones. Having fun with an unusual or one-of-a-kind photo is a great way to catch people’s attention so they can take the time to properly appreciate just how wonderful, sweet, and adorable your pet is. The most commonly celebrated international days are:
